The room is clean about what was expected of 2star. There is free internet in the room which is helpful. I would say refurbished rooms not too long ago. Can be very nosy in the corridors especially late at night on weekends. The CT train stop whih takes you around Calgary is only a short walk away and nearby there are restaurants and a few shops but is a about a mile from a main shopping area.

Renovated in 2005, this air-conditioned hotel comprises a total of 134 rooms, of which 18 are suites. Guests are welcomed in the foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a hairdresser, and a lift. Within the hotel there is also a selection of shops, a breakfast room, a conference room, and a public Internet connection with W-LAN access point. A laundry service and a launderette are both available, and parking for those arriving by car completes the offerings.

This hotel is located near the Chinook shopping centre and links to the Light Rail System. 39th Avenue Station is located in the immediate vicinity. Restaurant, such as Sopranos, can be easily reached on foot, it is about 10 minutes to the city centre, and the city of Edmonton lies some 3 hours drive away.
