 It was convenient and on a main road which felt safe for walking at night.  The key to access the room did not work on a few occasions and we had to go back down to reception to get the key fixed. This was a bit annoying.  Shopping and sight seeing.

It is also situated close to the business sector and shopping areas of the downtown core. The hotel is about a 35- to 40-minute drive from Montreal's Dorval International Airport.

Directions from Toronto: Take Highway 401 East and follow signs for Highway 20 East. Follow Highway 20 East towards Ville-Marie Highway (720 East) heading to Montreal-Downtown. Take Exit 3, Guy Street and keep right. At the first lights, turn right on Rene-Levesque Boulevard. The hotel is at the corner of Rene-Levesque and De Bleury.
