The most professional hotel we stayed at in Cuba. Although this is welcome, you could become a bit removed from real Cuba. Because of this we did not eat in the hotel (western food, high prices and lack of atmoshere) preferring local restaurants and paradors. Hotel itself was first rate

The best quality of the 5 hotels I used in Cuba. Being new it didn't have the greatest character compared to (say) the Nacionale in Havana but a good quality hotel with good service and a welcome night of luxury!

The hotel complex is situated in the centre of Trinidad, a jewel in the crown of 16th century colonial architecture, and therefore awarded UNESCO world heritage site status in 1988. The regional airport is only 2 km away, and bars and the Céspedes Park are in close vicinity to the hotel. Playa Ancon beach is about 13 km away, Torre de Manaca Iznaga about 20 km, and Valle de los Ingenios about 25 km away. The distance to Cayo Coco is about 247 km, to Havana about 335 km.
