 Excellent location, staff attentive, food good, overall an excellent base for our stay in Prague.  Full day Prague Experiene tour (yellow umbrella tour). Knowledgable guide, gave good insight into the City - enjoyable day whih inluded a river ruise and lunh- would reommend.

 THE HOTEL WAS GREAT IN EVERY RESPECT, BEAUTIFUL ROOMS, NICE STAFF AND LOVELY BREAKFAST.  THE ONLY NEGATIVE THING WAS I ASKED FOR ANOTHER TEA BAG AND WAS TOLD THEY WERE ONLY REPLENISHED IN MORNINGS WHEN THE BEDS WERE MADE.  THE HOTEL WAS CENTRALLY LOCATED FOR ALL LOCAL ATTRACTIONS, BUT STILL IN A QUITE AREA.

 Excellent position, and great hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. The onlycriticism I could think of after 4 days was the toilet in the restaurant has no way of drying hands after washing, which is hardly the end of the world!

The Gothic and Renaissance building, which still has the original ceiling in certain parts and dates back to 1319, is one of the few in Prague. Overall, the hotel ensures a quaint experience, combining the architecture and décor of the 14th century with modern amenities. It offers a total of 27 rooms over 4 floors. It is air-conditioned and has a lobby, 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, lift access as well as bar, dining and shopping facilities. Room and laundry services are also available (subject to fees).

Emplacement

This city hotel is situated in the heart of the city centre on the old town square, just a short walk away along the cobbled streets from the famous Astronomical Clock. The hotel is surrounded by the most significant historical landmarks in Prague, such as the Charles Bridge, the National Theatre and Wenceslas Square. Most of the famous museums and the grand and original National Theatre are all only 10-15 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Shopping for souvenirs and artefacts is on the doorstep while the brand-name shopping street is just a short walk away. The hotel is the ideal hotel for both those there on business and tourists. It offers an optimal starting point for those after sightseeing and shopping in the daytime, and at night the cities nightlife is directly accessible. The train station is also nearby.

By bus (from the airport): Take bus number 119, to Dejvicka metro station, which is also an underground station. From Dejvická metro station go to Staromestske Namesti Station (Old Town Square Station) on the green line, line A. After getting off the train use the escalators to access the station-lobby. Exit onto Kaprova street and go towards the Old Town Square. From the main railway station Hlavní Nádrazí: From the lobby enter the metro station for the red line metro C towards Museum station, at Museum station change from the red line to the green line A and ride two more stops to Staromestske Namesti (Old Town square) and then follow the instructions given above. By car: Take Evropská Street and follow the signs to Centrum and Malá Strana all the way to the banks of the river of Vltava. Then cross the Mánes Bridge toward Staré Mesto and at the first traffic light turn right, follow the riverbank all the way to the National Theatre and then take a left at the lights towards Národní Trìda. At the end of the Národní take a left into Perlova, left again to Uhelný trh, go straight along Skolpka and right into Jílská.
