 Had to change rooms halfway through 3 night stay. Stated all were with their own bathrooms but not the case on the last night, had to share a shower room/toilet. communal kitchen which had no milk for tea making. The room (apartment) on the first two nights wasn't cleaned. Dust everywhere and towels (which were soaked) and bedding not changed. No curtains in half of the windows, or in the toilet/shower room where we had to hang a towel in the window. Similarly when we were moved on the last day the shower/toilet had no curtains. Locality good. Potential for so much more. Will not be hurrying back there however. Or indeed recommending it to anyone - however had to put something in the who would you recommend it to section for this to submit.

 In a nice quite area, close to the Palace in Prague, the accommodation suited our needs and we would use it again.
 

Hotel description

Housed in a building that was built in the 17th century following the Thirty Years War, this hotel was last renovated in 2001. A total of 5 rooms are on offer to guests, of which 1 is a suite. Facilities include a kitchen where breakfast is served and that may also be used by guests.

Emplacement

This guest house affords a romantic, picturesque location in Nový Svit, Prague, close to the castle. Lying in a particularly tranquil neighbourhood primarily inhabited by artists, it is approximately 5 minutes walk to Prague Castle as well as to a diverse array of restaurants, bars, links to the public transport network and shops. Charles Bridge is 15 minutes walk away and the beautiful old town may be reached on foot in 20 minutes. The railway station may be reached in 30 minutes by making use of public transport. Prague airport is 10 km from the hotel.

Take tram number 22 or 23 and alight at Brusnice.

The rooms are simply furnished with antique furniture and each room is bathroom with a hairdryer, a double/ king-sized bed and central heating.
 Observations
The reception desk is open until 7 pm. Guests arriving after this time should inform the hotel in advance.
