 The Expo is a Hotel we have stayed at before and as such it generally maintains the high standards that in part made us stay there again.  We were a bit surprised to see that the Hotel do not offer tea coffee making facilities in guests rooms we are certain this was the case in our previous visit. Reception is very busy in the mornings with many business guests checking out, best avoid it and come back later for Tram tickets etc.  Not a great deal to do near the Hotel whih is about 10 minutes from the entre of Prague by tram (No 14 Tram), and about the same to the Castle Area (No 12 Tram). The Hotel stands by the Prague Exhibition Grounds, at the time of our visit a Musi Festival was taking plae whih we know was of interest to other guests in the Hotel.

 It is next to the expo centre which creats a lot of noise disturbance throughout the night on two of the four nights ie emtying large refuse bins trucks collecting large metal bins picking them up and create a large disturbance in the very earlier hours and continued throughout the night. this would not be allowed in the UK. I would not recommend this hotel to any friends visiting Prague.

 The hotel was very clean and the rooms were of a good quality, teas and coffee making facilities in the room would have been useful. The breakfasts were adequate but for a four star hotel could have been better and breakfast tea was not available on two days of our stay. Because of the close proximity and frequency of the Tram service the position of the Hotel was not an issue.

The hotel was built in 1994 and consists of 5 floors with a total of 106 rooms. The hotel's sizeable lobby contains lifts, safes, a currency exchange desk and a 24-hour reception. The hotel also has a cosy bar and a fine à la carte resaurant with a separate non-smoking area. A conference room with the capacity up to 90 persons. Furthermore there are car parking facilities (with charge), room and laundry services and medical assistance on offer. Internet access available free in all premises.
