The resort is the perfect location for people who, besides peace and quiet in a well cared for property, are also willing to get to know the country and the people. Families with children as well as older people will feel very much at home in the luscious garden with its 2 pools. The complex consists of 54 apartments, each around 60 m². Facilities include a safe, a bar and room service.

The complex is about 700m (almost 1/2 mile) away from the beach, in the centre of Sosua, ten minutes by car to the east of the International Airport of Puerto Plata, and is on the north coast of the Dominican Republic. Around the hotel, there are restaurants, shops, supermarkets, bars and several other leisure possibilities. The Amber Museum, Brugal Rum factory and Ocean World are all within 30 minutes of the hotel.

From Puerto Plata International Gregorio Luperón Airport: From the airport, turn left onto Sosúa Street. Following the hotel signs, turn left into the neighbourhood of El Batey

The guest rooms are comfortably furnished in the local style. They consist of a living room with a dining area and two large beds, a fully furnished kitchen with a gas or electric stove and a refrigerator, cable TV with 70 channels of which several are in English. All rooms have a balcony, a sink, and a bathroom with a bathtub and a toilet. The living room and the bedroom both have ceiling fans and the superior apartments are individually air-conditioned.
