The town of Albi is the capital of the Département of Tarn, in France?s Midi-Pyrénées regions. The town is on the banks of the Tarn River.
We recommend visiting the Sainte Cécile Cathedral, an imposing brick structure in the Mediterranian Gothic style that was begun in 1282. The Palace de la Berbie (13th century) is one of France?s best preserved ancient buildings. Over the centuries it was gradually transformed from a fortress to a place for recreational activities. It has some lovely gardens in the French style that were planted in 1678. You should also make time for a stroll around the old quarter, where you will find the Old Bridge (1035), the collegiate church and cloister of St. Salvy (1270), the Albiginesian mills, the neighbourhood of Madeleine and the market square.

Despite being just 500 metres from the Toulouse Lautrec Museum and the cathedral of Sainte Cecile, this establishment enjoys a calm setting. The nearest coach/bus station may be found a couple of paces from the hotel whereas the nearest major railway station, Gare d'Albi, is around 3 km away and it is some 75 km to Toulouse Blagnac airport.
