 In its category, the hotel was very good. Small and unassuming, the public areas are fairly basic, but the room was obviously refurbished fairly recently with individually operated air con and a decent bathroom with a good shower. Situation very central for shops (main shopping street round the corner), main railway station (5 mins walk) and sea front (a gentle 10 mins or so) down the main street, which is also on the route of the brand new tramway (frequent, efficient, air-conditioned and very cheap - day pass 4 euros).

The 5-storey, air-conditioned hotel comprises 28 rooms of which 18 are doubles and 10 are singles. Amongst the facilities count a lobby with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe and a lift in addition to a restaurant, a breakfast room, a bar and a TV room. Furthermore, it is possible to make use of the hotel's room service.

This hotel is located at the heart of Nice, just 500 m from the nearest beach and 5 minutes walk from the railway station. An array of shops, restaurants, nightclubs and links to the public transport network may also easily be reached on foot. It is 6 km to Nice airport.

From the airport (situated on the \"\"Promenade des Anglais\"\", on the sea front, on the west side of the city, 7 km away from the city centre): 20 minutes by bus, n° 99, last stop train station. By car: from the A8 motorway take the Promenade des Anglais exit, towards Nice Centre / Acropolis (Palais des Congrès). Once driving along the Acropolis take the 5th street to the right. Car park: 50 metres away. From the train station: 5 minutes walk, outside the station turn left to avenue Jean Médecin then right, take 3rd street to the right again, by the church Notre-Dame.
