The first room offered was dreadful and having to pay an extra 20 euros for a decent room was just appalling. We paid and were given a better room but really for the price definately not worth it. We later stayed in a B B at a quarter of the price and it was as comfortable and the breakfast was just the same...rethink your policy...If the customer is not happy with the room you do not charge extra togive a more accecptable alternative.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The room was pleasant and was kept very clean. The Hotel is well situated in Nice and lots of good restaurants are available nearby. It was a lovely trip.

Hotel description

The hotel was renovated in 2006 and comprises a 6-storey building with a total of 119 rooms and suites. Guests are invited to sit back and enjoy the charms of the décor, to sample the great atmosphere in the pub or to try a special tea in the tea lounge. The sunny breakfast buffet in the cosy courtyard will guarantee a good start to the day. Facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception and lift access. There are also conference facilities, Internet access, and 24-hour room and laundry service. Parking is provided.

This attractive city hotel is situated in the heart of Nice, right next to the ?Nice Etoile' shopping centre and some 900 m from the ?Acropolis' congress centre. The famous ?Promenade des Anglais' is approximately 1 km away, whilst the old town with its flower market is 500 m from the hotel. The airport is around 7 km away.

Take the A8 from Cannes, exiting at junction 50: Promenade des Anglais. Drive for a further 6 km to Massena Square. Cross this and take the 1st left onto Rue Alberti. The hotel is located at the end of this street. From the A8 from Monaco take the Nice Est exit and drive towards the Acropolis congress centre. Take a right onto Boulevard Carabacel and then take the 5th street on the left hand side (Boulevard Dubouchage). The hotel is 300 m further on.
