 access to the metro gare du nord was very good cleanliness good Quiet room ... NO traffic noise. OR Trains noise in the room we were in  Plenty of restaurants around Gare du Nord Easy to get anywhere being lose to metro ......

 Room clean and adequate for couple or close family member - I was with my sister.It would have been perfect if a small kettle had been provided for us to make tea or coffee.

 The hotel was very clean, bright and cheery. The staff were very pleasant. You need to be able to speak some French to get on. My view is that this is no more than one should expect, and I am in accordance with French citizens who rather resent the usual English-speaking attitude that "the natives should be able to speak our language". The hotel overlooks the tracks of Gare de l'Est, which is very noisy - all night. Be careful if arriving, as we did, on a Belfast EasyJet flight, late at night at Gare du Nore. There are a lot of young renegades hanging around the station looking for easy pickings from unsuspecting tourists. No problems, though if you use your best assertive O level French to ask them to clear off! The area around the hotel has a really great buzzing atmosphere, and it is very easy to get in and out of the city centre - or futher afield - by Metro. Final conclusion - Good value, but close your windows at night and use the air conditioning, to avoid the noise of the station.

This charming city hotel is located in the heart of Paris city centre, between the Gare du Nord station (about 200 m) and the Gare de L'Est near the Paris Opera (about 2 km). Guests will find a bus station as well as entertainment and shopping options (such as the Galleries Lafayette) in the immediate vicinity. It is also not far to Notre Dame (approximately 2 km), the Stade de France football stadium, and the Champs Elsées (both about 4 km). Paris Orly airport is 30 km away, while Charles de Gaulle airport is 20 km from the hotel.

Those arriving on the A1 should join the main Paris ring road (Periphérique). Exit at the junction \"\"Porte de Pantin\"\". The Metro station is Gare du Nord.
