 The hotel was in a really convenient location, with the metro just around the corner. It was very easy to walk to the champs elysee and arc de triomphe. The room was much larger than expected. In one corner was a sofa with two chairs and a table. In the other corner was a table for work. There was also a mini bar and tv. There was a seperate bathroom and toilet.  Although we requested a double bed in the room we were still confronted with two single beds. However, this was quickly rectified by staff when asked and they provided a thin mattress and covers to put over the double beds when pushed together.  Great location. Friendly staff.  Not enough staff at breakfast Worn carpets in room No wash hand basin in toilet 4 star hotel? I think not.

A metro station lies just 50 m away and St. Lazare train station is around 400 m away. Orly airport lies around 18 km away and Charles de Gaulle is around 30 km away.

Take the Roissy Bus from Charles de Gaulle to Opera House and then walk through Boulevard des Capucines to Place de la Madeleine. From Orly, take the Air France bus to Invalides and then the metro to Madeleine (line 8). By train, RER B from both airports to Chatelet les Halles change for line 14 to Madeleine. From Gare du Nord: by metro, Line 4 to Chatelet les Halles and then line 14 to Madeleine.
