 I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE HOTEL SO CANNOT BE FORCED TO SELECT ONE OF YOUR PRE-FORMATED CHOICES.
 

Hotel description

Built in 1860, this hotel features a beautiful light sandstone façade in the style of Napoleon III. A little removed from the entrance area with 24-hour reception, guests are offered on the first floor an impressive lobby with antique furniture and an open fire. A lift is available. The hotel building comprises 6 storeys with a total of 34 rooms, of which 8 are singles and 26 are doubles. Guests may also take advantage of the WLAN Internet access. A laundry service is also available.

Emplacement

This city hotel is ideally situated in the historical district of Paris, between Concorde and the Bastille. It is not far from Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Picasso Museum and the Centre Pompidou. Hotel de Ville metro station, from which other areas of Paris are easily accessible, is also only minutes away, the tourist centre with plenty of bars and restaurants is in the vicinity and the city centre is only a few kilometres away. The transfer time from Orly airport is around 45 minutes and Charles de Gaulle airport is 50 minutes away.

From Roissy/ Charles de Gaulle airport take the RER B from the stop Aeroport Charles de Gaulle 2 towards Saint-Remy-les-Chevreuse getting out at Chatelet-Les Halles. Change at Chatelet onto the metro line 1 towards Chateau de Vincennes and get out at Hotel de Ville. The journey takes around 1 hour. From Orly airport take the RER C from the stop Pont de Rungis Aeroport d'Orly towards Argenteuil getting out at Bibliothèque-Francois Mitterand. Take the metro line 14 from here in the direction of Madeleine to Chatelet. At Chatelet change again, onto metro line 1 towards Chateau de Vincennes, getting out at Hotel de Ville. The journey takes around 50 minutes.
