 I FOUND THIS HOTEL TO BE QUITE BASIC. HOWEVER, THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND TOWELS ETC WERE CHANGED DAILY. YOU HAVE TO SIT IN THE SMALL BATH TO HAVE A HAND HELD SHOWER.THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING AND THIS MADE OUR STAY UNCOMFORTABLE AS THE TEMPERATURE WAS VERY HOT. WE HAD ALOT OF SLEEPLESS NIGHTS DUE TO THIS.CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WAS AS EXPECTED AND STAFF WERE PLEASANT.THE LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT AS IT WAS SO CENTRAL. IT WAS ALSO QUIET.OVERALL IT WAS FINE BUT I WOULDNT STAY THERE AGAIN.

 The hotel was well situated and we were able to walk to many tourist sites. The staff were pleasant and the room was comfortable and clean with an ample supply of toiletries. As the hotel is not on a main road, there was no traffic noise. The only slight downside was that we would have liked more variety of food at breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.
 

Hotel description

The building was built in 1850 and completely renovated in 2002. There is a total of 18 guestrooms spread over 4 floors. Various facilities are available to guests including a vast foyer with lifts, safes and a 24-hour reception. In addition, the hotel provides a cosy breakfast room and a public Internet terminal with WLAN access (additional fees apply). Guests may take advantage of the hotel's laundry service (also for an added charge).

This popular hotel is ideally located at the heart of Paris, between the Place de la Madeleine and the Opera house. The best shops of the city, such as Galerie Lafayette or Printemps are just minutes away. The Champs Elysees, the Louvre, the Orsay Museum as well as the Opera Garnier and the Place de la Concorde are also just a stone's throw from the hotel. The transfer time to Orly airport is around 30 minutes.
