 The hotel air conditioning system is broken during my stay. At that moment the temperature is about 35 degrees. The hotel told me that the system will not be repaired in the next several days! Very incomfortable experience. As a five star hotel, this is not really acceptable!
 

Hotel description

Built in 1981, this city hotel offers a total of 397 rooms spread over 6 floors. This total includes 106 single rooms, 16 doubles and 11 suites, of which one is a presidential suite. Amongst the hotel facilities counts lift access, a bar, 14 separate and connected conference rooms and lounges, a public car park and an underground garage (for an additional fee). Dining options include 2 restaurants.

Emplacement

The first class city hotel is situated just a few paces from the famous Kurfürstendamm. A symbol of Berlin is the important Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, clearly visible, located opposite from Tauentzienstraße. In the immediate vicinity guests will find numerous bars, restaurants and shops. The large ICC trade show grounds or the Olympic stadium in the West of the city are also both easily reachable from the hotel. Guests can embark upon a comprehensive tour of discovery through the exciting capital by day or by night, starting from right outside the hotel.

Coming from the A10 Berlin circular, follow the signs for Berlin-Zentrum (centre). At the Junction for A115 follow the signs for Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf to the Kurfürstendamm exit, and leave the motorway. Once on Kurfürstendamm follow the street until reaching the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church on the left. Turn left here into Rankenstraße. The hotel is located approximately 100 m on the left on side.
