Emplacement

The hotel distinguishes itself, as do our other hostels, by its central location. Highlights such as the Cologne Dom (Cathedral), the Old Town and the Schildergasse shopping mile are in the direct vicinity. Further sights can either be seen by just taking a short walk or be easily reached with public transportation.||It¿s especially easy for exhibition visitors to reach us. The STR 1 takes 8 minutes to reach Rudolfplatz from the exhibition hall Köln Messe Deutz.||

From the Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station): take the U-bahn line U19 (in direction Klettenberg) or line U6 (direction Ubierring) for 2 stops to Neumarkt, from where you take tram line 1 (Weiden) or line 7 (Frechen) for 1 stop. Get off at the stop Rudolfplatz and take a right out of the exit Hohenstaufenring (10 minute journey). Follow this street toward Zülpicher Platz until you see Lindenstrasse, into which you should take a right. After 50 m you take a left into Engelbertstrasse. The hostel is 20 m away, on the right-handed side. |From the Airport: from Cologne-Bonn Airport (CGN), take the S-bahn line S13 (direction Köln-Hansaring). From there, take the line U15 (direction Köln-Übierring), U12 (Zollstock), U16 (Bonn/Bad-Godesberg) or U18 (Bonn Hbf.). Get off at the stop Rudolfplatz and take a right out of the exit Hohenstaufenring (10 minute journey). Follow this street toward Zülpicher Platz until you see Lindenstrasse, into which you should take a right. After 50 m you take a left onto Engelbertstrasse. The hostel is 20 m away, on the right-handed side.

The rooms are small, yet charming and comfortably furnished and fitted with a shower, a WC and a TV as well as a direct dial telephone and a radio. All rooms are non-smoking.
 Observations
All rooms are non-smoking. Rooms are available starting at 3 pm on the date of arrival, although you may check-in prior to that. The free luggage room is available for storing luggage in the meantime.
