  Positive reviews about the hotel: Excellent position and excellent staff, particularly the reception staff who were very helpful at all times.   Negative reviews about the hotel: The breakfast restaurant needs a new TOASTER.   Other reviews: We would have liked a bath as well as a shower in our bathroom, but this is a very minor issue.

  Positive reviews about the hotel: The hotel is in a good location and is very easy to find being located near the Powder Tower. There was a good choice for breakfast and the room overlooks a pretty courtyard which was covered with snow during our trip.   Negative reviews about the hotel: Coming from the UK we have gotten very used to the cigarette ban, so because of this we found the smoking and the general smell of stale cigarette smoke in the bedrooms a bit off-putting. Some of the reception staff were very helpful, but others were a bit abrupt and were not as helpful as they might have been.   Things to do near the hotel: Lots! The Old Town Square, Jewish Quarter, Charles Bridge and the Lesser Quarter. Lots of restaurants.   Other reviews:  The best thing about this hotel is the location and price and I would recommend it to anyone who wanted to spend a few days in the lovely city of Prague.
 

Hotel description

Housed in a building dating back to the early 14th century, this air-conditioned hotel was renovated in 2007 and comprises a total of 88 rooms. The ground floor features a trendy bar, a cosy restaurant and a terrace where guests may enjoy a drink in the summer months. A second restaurant with a terrace, on which breakfast is served, features on the first floor. Dinners can also be enjoyed in the romantic wine cellar. The lobby includes a 24-hour reception and check-out service, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, lift access and internet access. Room and laundry services are provided, whilst guests arriving by car can leave their vehicles in the hotel's own private parking garage (with charge).
