  Positive reviews about the hotel: Very pleasant reception staff on checking in and out. Hotel right in the town centre so easy access to all shops and the railway.   Negative reviews about the hotel: Lots of students in this hotel playing loud music in their room, and large group of 13 year olds running round until 3am. No acknowledgement by restaurant staff when wanted an evening meal so walked out and went somewhere else.   Things to do near the hotel: Shopping, comedy club nearby.

  Negative reviews about the hotel: Unfortunately I find the beds slightly uncomfortable as if the springs are sticking up. I found this the same in the Britannia Portland Rd   Things to do near the hotel: Absolutely all sorts central location

The hotel is situated very centrally within Manchester, on a main road and near Piccadilly Gardens, as well as various shopping facilities and entertainment venues. Links to the public transport are to be found just a stone's throw away (150m). The airport is located around 12 km away.

From Piccadilly Station: Proceed straight ahead along London Road to Piccadilly. Turn right at the department store, onto Market Street, directly opposite Piccadilly Gardens. The hotel is directly ahead on the right. The nearest bus station is situated at Piccadilly Gardens. Turn right at the department store on Market Street, directly opposite Piccadilly Gardens. From Liverpool: Take junction 12 and follow signs to Manchester and Salford. Take 1st exit from roundabout onto Albion Way. At the end of the road turn right onto The Crescent A6. After 5 traffic lights, turn right at the C.I.S. building onto Miller Street. At traffic lights turn right onto Shudehill, turn left onto Turner Street, right onto High Street and right again onto Church Street.
