  Positive reviews about the hotel: Good location, breakfast was good and the staff at breakfast were great.   Negative reviews about the hotel: The front of house staff were very rude, we had booked two twin rooms as we are a group of four women, we were never loud, all day we were out sight seeing and in the evening out to dinner, however whenever we asked a question the front of house staff replied very rudely and as if they could not be bothered. My mother went to hand the keys on our way out the staff member behind the counter did not get out of his seat, instead continued to sit at his computer, my mother said excuse me do I just leave our key on the counter? the man replied not even looking up 'YES!', he was rude and aggresive. We just walked away from the counter and waited for our two other friends to then hear him call us stupid english women - in Italian of course, I speak fluent Italian and was able to understand his insults while he continued to call us while his colleagues laughed. We often go abroad for weekend breaks and whilst we loved Rome we have never been treated so rudely before. We were not the only guests that commented on this. If you want a welcoming hotel do not stay here, if you want to able to ask question such as 'what bus do you get to the spanish steps' and would like a friendly polite answer then do not stay here!!

  Positive reviews about the hotel: I was travelling alone, which can be daunting, but the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast choice outstanding. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others.   Negative reviews about the hotel: No negative comments//c~Very convenient location, walking distance to many of the historical sites of this wonderful city //

Renovated in 2004, the hotel offers a total of 292 rooms, which are spread over two buildings, including 2 junior suites and 5 wheelchair accessible rooms. Amongst the facilities count a reception hall (open 24 hours), a currency exchange bureau, a cloakroom and lifts. Dining options include a breakfast room, and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with highchairs for children. The hotel also offers WLAN Internet access (for an additional fee) as well as a room and laundry service (charges payable). Those arriving by car may make use of the garage parking on payment of an added fee.
