 Nice hotel, very well situated for most people's purposes (shops, restaurants, bars, beach, etc). Large selection and variety of buffet food to suit every taste, always fresh and well-presented. Staff in restaurant and elsewhere in the hotel very polite and attentive. Only criticisms are carpets in public areas (esp. corridors) have seen better days and provision for access to internet rather limited (3 small booths shared with phone use, no facility to print documents). Pool areas pleasant and well-maintained. Generally, a nice experience. (March 2008)

 Got to the hotel very late evening and was pleasently surprised to be upgraded to a really nice room with use of a roof top pool for everyone staying on level 6.Hotel close to all amenities and beach. We will certainly be booking Iberostar Torviscas Playa again.Thanks again to all the staff for a 'Nothing is too much trouble' stay.
 

Hotel description

This hotel was built in 1989 and renovated in 1997. There is a total of 476 rooms spread over 6 floors. Facilities include a 24-hour reception desk, lifts and 3 conference rooms with Internet access. In addition, the hotel has a cosy bar, a hairdresser's salon, a shop and an air-conditioned restaurant with a separate non-smoking area. A laundry service is also on offer.

Emplacement

This modern hotel is superbly located directly in the tourist centre of Torviscas (Costa Adeje). The nearest beautiful 800-metre long sand beach is 150 metres away. The marina of Puerto Colon is just a few minutes away on foot. A large shopping centre with boutiques, restaurants and bars is located in the neighbourhood. The nearest airport is just 17 km from the complex.

All of the rooms are furnished in a modern style and come fitted with an en suite bathroom and a hairdryer. They additionally come equipped with a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a minibar (on request), a hire safe, air conditioning, 2 twin beds and a balcony.

The outdoor complex features 2 pools for adults, a kids pool, a sun terrace, sunbeds, parasols and a snack bar. Guests can play table tennis, and with extra charge tennis and billiards. A daily entertainment programme is offered during the day and night.
