  Positive reviews about the hotel: Gardens and pools are excellent. Very well maintained and clean. Rooms are comfortable and problems are quickly sorted Food has improved overall since last visit but more fresh vegetables would be an improvement Waiting staff in the restaurants are especially commended for their friendliness and attention to detail   Negative reviews about the hotel: Entertainment is very poor and drinks from the Bars are over priced. Gates are locked early in the morning until 8.00 and a card access system would be more convenient. Lights turn off at 23.00 on balconies. While understanding the energy saving, it would be good to have an "over-ride" switch to be able to enjoy reading or games while on the balcony   Other reviews: Please consider offering water with meals as an inclusive benefit. The cost, considering the room rates, would be negligible and the mark-up for water purchased with meals is significantly high. In the USA , chilled water is often available free of charge and in a warm climate this is a good idea. A small point but I think in keeping with the hotel's superior service

  Other reviews: We had booked half board, however the food quality for the evening meal was substandard for the quality of hotel and therefore very disappointing. As a result we ate out of the hotel most nights.The quality of the grounds and the pools was however excellent particularly the infinity pool.

Opened in 2002, this impressive holiday resort comprises a total of 1136 rooms spread over several 2 to 8-storey building of which 1022 are double rooms and 114 are suites. Various facilities are on offer to guests including a vast 76,000 m² pool and garden complex, a spacious foyer with 12 lifts, safes, a currency exchange desk and a 24-hour reception desk. There is also a newspaper stand, a games room, a shopping arcade, a hairdresser's salon, a nightclub, a cinema, a bistro café, 9 bars, 2 buffet restaurants and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with highchairs for infants. Business guests may make use of the various conference rooms and additional services include room and laundry services as well as medical assistance. Guests may take advantage of the in-house bicycle storage facility, parking facilities, kids club and playground.

This modern, hotel is ideally located in the tourist centre of Maspalomas, close to the lighthouse and just 200 m from the nearest beautiful sandy beach. An abundance of shops and entertainment venues are located in the immediate vicinity. Varaddero shopping and entertainment centre lies just a few minutes away.
