  Other reviews: Although only a 2 star hotel, it was clean and very presentable. The staff all spoke English, and were very pleasant. Very good value for money! There is a local cafe, just 100 metres away from the hotel, who serves food and drink at very good prices, highly recommended!
 

Hotel description

The hotel was built in 1995 and completely renovated in 2008. There are a total of 65 rooms spread over 7 floors, of which 60 are double rooms and 5 are suites. The facilities include an air-conditioned lobby with a lift, a 24-hour reception, a café/cocktail bar, an air-conditioned restaurant and free courtesy bus to Portimao Center (near the harbour) and Praia Da Rocha beach.

Emplacement

This attractive hotel is located in the midst of 250 m² of beautiful gardens, right in the tourist area of Portimao. It is 1.5 km to the nearest sand/pebble beach and a bus shuttle service runs to the beach 4 times a day. There are several shopping areas surrounding the hotel where guests may explore the different shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants. Public transport departs from a stop approximately 500 m from the hotel.

All of the modern rooms are fitted with an en suite bathroom as standard and a lounge. In addition, they are all fitted with individual heating, ceiling fan, hire safe, a direct dial telephone and satellite TV as standard.
