 Needs recarpeting first impressions count and the stained state of the carpet does not help Other guests were rowdy at all hours of the night 3 disturbed nights endured. The swimming pool and terrace bar were closed which came as a complete surprise and disappointment. The closure is not stated anywhere on the hotel's website. Breakfast lacked any tasty bread and there was no fresh fruit. What there was was very "boring"
 

Hotel description

The hotel was built in 1977, completely renovated in 2004 and consists of 6 floors and a total of 164 rooms, of which 25 are singles, 74 are doubles and 2 are suites as well as 64 studios. Amongst the hotel's facilities count a 24-hour reception, safe, a stylish foyer with lifts and a currency exchange desk. There is also a café, a newspaper stand, shops and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with separate non-smoking area. Business guests may make use of the conference room and the Internet terminal. There is also a bicycle hire service, a car park and a room and laundry service to take advantage of.

This charming hotel lies right at the heart of Athens, opposite the central train station and Larissa underground station. The hotel is within metres of Omonia Square and the Archaeological Museum. Further tourist attractions, for example the Acropolis, the Parthenon, Plaka quarter, the parliament building on Syntagma Square and the Olympic stadium are all within easy reach of the hotel. The centre of town offers plenty of shopping and entertainment venues, which are only 2 km away, the sea and a ski area are 12 kilometres away.
