  Positive reviews about the hotel: N/A   Negative reviews about the hotel: As a 'City Centre' hotel it was 10 minutes by taxi and the decor and lack of facilities especially in the room meant it was more a 2 or 3 star hotel. I would not pay £140 for two rooms again in this hotel.   Things to do near the hotel: Nothing. Had to go to central Madrid

  Positive reviews about the hotel: Very helpful staff. Very clean. Very nice coffees!   Negative reviews about the hotel: No air conditioning. Room was very warm and we went at the end of March.

  Positive reviews about the hotel: Rooms kept to a good standard. Restaurant staff friendly and affable. Dropping in for business this hotel more or less suits purpose. Trying to save a buck? Check the distance from business or pleasure locations, you might make up the difference in taxi fares   Negative reviews about the hotel: No iron board facilities for individuals on request! Have to send it to the in-house dry cleaners. Towels do not smell fresh. Use the blow dryer! No internet/computer area despite having wireless.   Things to do near the hotel: An array of nice tapas bars and boutiques. Athletico Madrid- great! A fifteen-minute walk away. Need to get further out for more quality and variety for shopping. Transport links not the best from this venue, rely heavily on Taxis unless you back to the Metro.   Other reviews: Metro prices are cheap but the nearest station is a 15 minute walk away and taxis don't wait outside. You need to walk to the main road and cross over to get a taxi. If your luggage is not too heavy the walk isn't that bad. Always ask for the price of food at the point of ordering. Lots of menus with no prices and shock bills in some local dining venues.
