  Positive reviews about the hotel: The position of the Hotel is excellent, good for Medina and Bus station, the staff were pretty helpfull and the cleaning and general house keeping were good.   Negative reviews about the hotel: I felt the quality of the Hotel was not quite up to the price tag considering the cost of life in general in Morocco.   Things to do near the hotel: The position of the hotel is very good close to the Medina and transport links, there are plenty of places to eat within ten mins walk and most of the sights are easily reached.

  Positive reviews about the hotel: Location : central, next to bus terminus and directly above the supermarket. All the sights are within walking distance. Great view over the Medina, the Koutubia and the Atlas. Experiencing sunrise over the Medina is special - and you won't get it at the 5 star establishments.Good buffet breakfast (Moroccan : croiscants, pan cakes, boiled eggs, best orange juice). Staff most helpful and the room/ Hotel was spotless. Stayed there for 2 weeks over 2 years and it's great value and practical.   Negative reviews about the hotel: Only negative thing is the noise level if your room is facing the Medina, since the buses that leave from around 3-4am create a bit of noise. I would recommend ear-plugs.   Things to do near the hotel: Majorelle gardens are a block away. The Medina is only across the Square. The bus terminus is handy for that day trip to Essaouira. Buses leaving from there are very cheap and the service efficient. The supermarket/bakery below the Hotel will save you money.

This city hotel is located in downtown Marrakech, 5 minutes from Bab Doukkala, one of the famous gates of the old Medina, where guests will find plenty of souks - traditional markets selling meat, vegetables, fruit and other products at very good prices. The Gueliz district is just a 5-10-minute walk away and restaurants, bars and clubs are all within a 7-minute drive of the hotel. The Majarelle Gardens can be reached in 10 minutes on foot and Jamaa Lafna Square is a 10-minute drive away, as is the train station. The Bahia Palace and the Menara Garden are both a 15-minute drive from the hotel. The hotel is also close to the city bus station and the Aswak Assalam shopping centre. The Oukaimeden ski area is a 1-hour drive away and Casablanca is 2 hours away by car. Menara International Airport (RAK) is 7 km from the hotel.
