Staff were very attentive & took all comments seriously , genuinely trying to resolve any issues. Bedding very clean & towels changed daily. Breakfast good for the money. The reception areas clean & fresh. Carpet in our room was really grubby & the bathroom was 'tired' with mould showing in the tile grouting & sealants. This is a very old building & it shows reflected in the price. Good position for restaurants & subway & ity tour.

Centrally located Reception area refurbished Good choice at breakfast beware of the coffee (not nescafe more mellow birds) Bar nearly 3 times more expensive for a beer than next door Rest of hotel is getting tired rooms require upgrading Main shopping streets nearby Great bars nearby - diretly aross road (jazz blues musi) and right of main entrane oming out of hotel (downstairs) - plenty of loal people and beer wine for under £1

There is no lift in the 5th floor that means you have to carry up the baggage one floor (from the 4th to the 5th) if your room is in the 5th floor. The surroundings of the hotel are a little untidy, especially at night. Visit the synagogue that it's lose.

Renovated in 2006, this hotel comprises a total of 79 rooms, of which three are apartments, spread across five storeys. The 19th century atmosphere was preserved in the renovation process, and facilities on offer include a lobby area with a reception desk manned around the clock, a hotel safe, and lift access. The air-conditioned building also offers guests a bar and a kosher à la carte restaurant. The laundry service completes the range of services on offer.
