Fully renovated in 2003, this historic beach hotel, with its own private beach, spacious lawns and seaside promenade, comprises a total of 120 rooms, of which 2 are disability-friendly, spread between a main building and an annexe building. There are 7 suites and 6 junior suites. Facilities on offer include an entrance hall with 24-hour reception, a cloakroom and lift access. Guests can also make use of the hotel's café, bar, newspaper stand, on-site hairdresser, games room, restaurant, conference facilities, WLAN access point and room service. Located on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, this hotel has played a unique part in the history of Israel. It lies within easy reach of the many historical and religious sites, including Hammat Tiberias, the Tomb of Meir Baal and the Tomb of Maimanides (all within 1 km). The town of Nazareth is just a 15-minute drive or 2-hour walk away, the Ancient Wall is just 100 m away, and the city centre, with its wide range of restaurants, bars and clubs, is 200 m from the property. The bus station is also approximately 1.5 km from the hotel and Golan Heights is 15 km away.
From Tel-Aviv take the coastal road (# 2) in the direction of Haifa. At Zichron Ya'akov turn right and follow road # 70 through Yokneam until reaching Shaar Hamakim Intersection. Turn right onto the road to Tiberias (# 75) then turn off left onto road # 77 and follow it to Tiberias. On reaching the city turn right and then left and drive straight ahead until the hotel is directly ahead.
