Ambra Palace Pescara
Situated in a summer resort, the hotel has easy access to 10 km of beach, the modern tourist harbour, and the mountains of Maiella and Gransasso with their renowned national parks. The hotel lies in the tourist and commercial centre of Pescara, 250 m from the railway station, and 300 m from the beach. This hotel is set right in the centre of Rivisondoli, on the main village street. It enjoys an ideal location just 3 km from the platter lift at AltoSangro which will take guests to the local ski slopes. Situated on one side of Mount Calvario, Rivisondoli is an important tourist centre, thanks to its many skiing facilities. Surrounded by icy mountains and valleys, the hotel also offers guests the chance to visit the parish church of San Nicola di Bari, which was rebuilt at the beginning of the 20th century, and features stained glass windows by Giovanni Haynal. Other destinations in the area include Pescocostanzo (2 km), Castel di Sangro (15 km) and Sulmona (60 km).

The aristocratic village of Civitella del Tronto is built on a travertine rock overlooked by an imposing fortress. These incredible feats of engineering are perfectly integrated in the surrounding landscape, which encloses both the Gran Sasso Mountain and the Adriatic Sea (22 km away). There are restaurants, bars, shops and a bus stop in the village while the nearest train station is 18 km away in Teramo.
