The city of Forli is in the Italian region of Emilia-Romana.
It is a place that possesses a rich cultural heritage and its monuments and museums tell stories that date back to classical Roman era. In its old quarters we find historical sites such as the Abazzia di San Mercuriale, built in 1181, with an imposing bell tower, for a long time considered one of the wonders of the country.
Forli also came to be a place that was strongly influenced by Mussolini and restorations were carried out in the quarter, which changed it, giving it fascist style architecture. Two constructions that are characteristic of this style are the Piazzale de la Vittoria and the Viale Della Liberta. The Piazzale de la Vittoria is a monument commemorating those fallen in war and possessing a beautiful bronze sculpture. The main square or Piazza Saffi is dedicated to Aurelio Saffi, a person who is a symbol of the city. His statue is in the centre and towards the west we can see the old Municipal palace whose construction began in the year 1000. The history of Forli will amaze you; discover it!
This unspoiled region offers a unique experience of sport, relaxation and the sweet embrace of nature. Guests are only a few minutes away from a lake, a river and the city centre with countless shopping venues. Along the Montone Valley, guests will find a large choice of travel routes, ideal for strolls, trekking, mountain biking and riding. One of the largest attractions of this rural area in Romagnais is the delicious traditional cuisine, which can be found the whole year round in the typical restaurants. In addition to the homemade pasta, piadina or crescioni, guests will also find typical wines such as Sangiovses, Trebbiano, Pgadebit and Cagnina. The water from the Castrocaro thermal springs, with its special composition of salt, bromine, iodine and sulphur, is used in many areas for health treatments. The various therapies are able to help respiration, circulation, digestion, dermatological, gynecological and arthorheumatic problems. The connection of this water with pure clay establishes the natural-healing mud of Castrocaro used in mud balneotherapy.
The hotel is situated right in the historic town centre, in the pedestrian zone. There is a bus station that can be reached in just 2 minutes by foot and the train station is 2 km away.
