The city of Forli is in the Italian region of Emilia-Romana.
It is a place that possesses a rich cultural heritage and its monuments and museums tell stories that date back to classical Roman era. In its old quarters we find historical sites such as the Abazzia di San Mercuriale, built in 1181, with an imposing bell tower, for a long time considered one of the wonders of the country.

The main square or Piazza Saffi is dedicated to Aurelio Saffi, a person who is a symbol of the city.
