Livorno is a city in Tuscany, Italy. The city has a great maritime tradition. Its district of New Venice has a large number of canals and old buildings.
From a cultural perspective this is a very important city, seeing as it possesses a diverse range of museums and art galleries, where the work of prominent artists is put on display. The Giovanni Fattori Museum, exhibits many of the artist?s works. This is not the only museum you will find in Livorno; you can also visit the Mascagni Museum and the Natural History Museum.
