The hotel was very clean and decorated in a traditional Italian design. The staff were efficient and there was a pleasant garden area at the rear of the hotel for drinks. The room was tiny, I was there on business and there wasn't even room for a desk for me to sit at with my laptop. The wireless didn't work in my room either, I had to go into the bar area. The hotel was described as being suitable for business, but my room wasn't. The bed was hard and the bathroom was clostrophobic. I felt that the price was too high for the services and room size.

The building's 19th century structure contains 69 rooms in total. It was renovated in 2007, and offers air conditioning, a lobby, 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, cloakroom, lift access, TV room and breakfast room. The hotel's facilities also include an American bar and the wonderful open-air garden where guests can relax and enjoy excellent cocktails. Guests may also keep in touch with friends, family and colleagues via the hotel's complimentary Internet and WLAN access. Room and laundry services are available for a fee. Parking facilities are available to guests arriving by car in the form of a parking garage (subject to fees).

This city hotel is situated just a few minute's walk from many places of interest, including the Colosseum, Roman archaeological sites, Fori Imperiali, Circus Maximum, Venice Piazzale, the Quirinale Museum an the Borghese Gallery. Other attractions in the vicinity include Via Veneto, Piazza Barberini, Piazza di Spagna, Trinità dei Monti, the Trevi Fountain, Villa Borghese and Via dei Condotti. The Vatican is some 3 km away. The hotel is very close to Termini Station; from the station to the hotel take either a bus or taxi to Via Flavia. From Ciampino Airport there is an airport shuttle departing every 15 minutes from the airport to Ciampino station, from where there are connections to Rome's Termini station (journey time approx. 30 minutes). From Termini Station, take a bus or a taxi to Via Flavia. From Termini Station, by bus, the hotel is near to the bus station (750 m) and can be reached either on foot of by the following bus numbers 910, 92, 38, 86, 360 or 217. By car, at the exit from the highway, follow the road in the direction of Salaria Street. Exit at number 9, Settebagni. Follow the road in the direction of Rome centre to Fiume Square and then Flavia Street.
