They were nice guys who couldn't do enough for me. I'd go again. The area by the train station looks rough but actually there was no problems there

Good central hotel for those who wish to see the old quarter of Rome.

Hotel is between 15 and 20 minute walk from Termini, however there are great bus and tram connections at the piazza 1 minutes walk away. Room was a little noisy, but much better than other hotels in Rome. Staff were wonderful, and available 24/7.

This is an elegantly furbished, tastefully decorated family hotel that prides itself on its personalised service. On arrival guests are given a detailed map of Rome with instructions on how best to get about. The multi-lingual staff are able to provide all the information guests may need, including tours that can be booked in the hotel up to one hour before departure. The air-conditioned hotel was fully renovated in 2006 and has a total of 23 rooms. Additional facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception desk, a hotel safe, lift access, a café, a bar, a TV room, a breakfast room, and room and laundry services.

This city hotel is 50 m from the ancient entrance to Rome known as the \"\"Porta Maggiore\"\" Square where trams and buses run frequently. Guests can either take a tram or walk to the main bus depot to get to the main train station, some 1.5 km from the hotel. The centre of Rome is a 15-minute walk from the hotel, and the area in which the hotel is situated has plenty to offer in terms of bars, pubs and restaurants. The Colosseum is 2 km from the hotel, Trevi fountain is 2.5 km away and the Spanish Steps are 2.3 km away. Ciampino Airport and Leonardo Da Vinci Airport are 20 and 40 km away respectively.

From Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) Airport the train departs every 30 minutes to Termini Central station. Then turn left and walk the 1 km to the hotel or get the 5 or 14 tram / 105 bus to \"Porta Maggiore\" Square. The hotel is 50 m off this square. By car, drive along the \"\"Grande Raccordo Anulare\"\" (G.R.A.) in the direction of Fiumicino / Civitavecchia and take exit no.16 (Via Prenistina) in the direction of \"\"centro\"\". \"Porta Maggiore\" Square is at the end of Via Prenistina. This is the beginning of Via Giovanni Giolitti 50 m off this square. (note: this is a one way road).
