Near Palermo are the Segesta and Selinunte archaeological parks. Sicily hides many myths and legends related to the Italian mafia and so there is a popular tour, known as the "mafia tour", that displays different sites characteristic of the island: the Justice Palace, the Ucciardone prison, the Massimo theatre, where scenes from The Godfather were filmed and the famous town of Corleone.
