Wouldn't recommend this hotel. Needs updating and rooms bleak. Location is the only thing going for it aside the staff being pleasant.

A characterful hotel with good facilities, friendly service and an atmosphere in keeping with an eighteenth century building. It represents very good value for money and is very centrally situated on a quiet street no more than 5 minutes walk to the cathedral and main square in the historic centre of Turin. I would certainly stay there again.

Arrived at hotel at noon and told the room was not ready but would be very soon. Went sightseeing and came back at 4pm and the room was still not ready. Went out again and came back at 7 when thankfully the room was ready. Staff was friendly though.But the room was very basic, ensuite was tiny and furniture was creaky. There was one dim bulb for lighting. Hotel was Ok for a night when other hotels were full, but would not visit again.

The hotel was built at the end of the 18th Century and has also been used as a post office, before its current incarnation as a hotel. For many years the hotel lodged travellers coming to Turin on business, to carry out diplomatic missions, to study, or to participate in artistic and cultural events tied to Turin's role as the capital of Regno di Sardegna. This historical city establishment comprises a total of 71 rooms. Facilities on offer to guests include a bar, a TV lounge and a restaurant. Guests can also use the hotel's spacious parking area.
