You basically get what you pay for, the hotel is low budget so you can't walk into it expecting 5* quality!! Overall i had a pleasant stay at the Apple Inn, and would probably stay there again
 

This modern city hotel is housed in a building that dates back to 1879 and comprises 32 rooms, of which 21 are doubles, spread over 3 floors. Facilities include a spacious foyer with a hotel safe, a breakfast room, Internet access as well as beautiful gardens.

  This tasteful hotel is centrally located in the cultural area of Amsterdam, opposite the renowned Vondelpark in the peaceful Oud Zuid residential area of the city. It is 15 minutes to the historical centre of the city and the Rijksmuseum, the Concertgebouw, the Van Gogh museum, cosy bars, a diverse array of nightclubs and countless shopping venues are to be found within walking distance. The RAI exhibition centre, the congress centre and the World Trade Centre (WTC) are also accessible from the hotel. The nearest links to the transport network lie directly in front of the hotel. Amsterdam's-Schiphol airport is 17 km away.
