Spanning 6 hectares and surrounded by a nature reserve, the historic Château au Marquette was built in 1225 and affords a fantastic backdrop. Heemskerk Beach is only a 20-minute walk away. The hotel and castle are very easy to reach by public transport. Castricum lies about 10 minutes away by car, where there is a train station. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is just 35 km away.

It is easily accessible by car and public transport. At airport take a train to Amsterdam and change there to the train with direction Uitgeest. In Uitgeest guests can order a taxi or take the bus, line 73, stop Bachstraat. Then 5 min walk to the hotel. Taxi from the airport is also possible. By car, take the A9 direction Alkmaar and exit 9 is Heemskerk.
