Very pleasant atmosphere excellent service, great location ... I recomend to anyone visiting the town.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel and were particularly impressed with the courtesy and friendliness of staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. There are two critical comments, one of which is out of the control of the hotel. The first is that check-in and check-out was slow and although the staff were helpful, there seemed to be confusion over some of our requests (booking trips and taxis). The second comment was that we were awoken in the early hours of the morning (every morning!) by drunken groups leaving nightclubs and singing loudly but we realise this is out of the control of the hotel. Overall, though, a very enjoyable stay.

I was a bit disappointed by the hotel to be frank. Staff is very nice and the hotel is rather elegant and quiet, and well located. However, the heating was not working properly despite demand that it is increased (we spent 2 cold nights with my girlfriend), the bathroom is very small, and there is virtually no facility to do sports (the gym dates back to the 70s and 2 out of 5 machines are actually working). For a five star it is not up to scratch

This 3-storey hotel was built in 1887 and comprises a total of 62 rooms of which 9 are suites. The hotel has offered comfortable accommodation to a host of illustrious guests for over a century, guaranteeing a private, relaxed ambience. The greatest care has been taken to restore the hotel's historical interior, whilst it's unique climate, elegance and luxury have never failed to fascinate visitors. The hotel is indeed a place of legend and exclusivity. Facilities include a foyer with a reception desk and 2 lifts, a café, a selection of shops, a bar and a restaurant (5 highchairs available for infants). Further offerings include 2 breakfast rooms, a dining room and 8 conference rooms. Five parking spaces are available to those arriving by car.
