Wroclaw is a polish city located in the province of lower Silesia, and is also its administrative capital.
The city is situated in the southwest of the Republic of Poland, on the banks of the river Oder.
Among the main attractions in the city we recommend you visit Ostrów Tumski, an island located in the river Oder that is full of gothic style churches, St John?s Cathedral stands out as a highlight (it dates back to the 13th century). Another of the attractions of Wroclaw is the centenary palace, which was constructed in 1911 and declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 2006. We also recommend that you visit the national museum, which exhibits a large collection of paintings. You could also go for a walk around the market square, a city meeting point, very close to which you will find the Gothic Church of St. Elisabeth.
