 stayed at this hotel and think it is great until the first of may when first choice arrived with package holiday nightmare noisy families and changed the lovely pool into a noisy nightmare they are their until october when they leave we will go back but not until great shame

 I spend a very nice couple of weeks at the hotel. It was clean with three swimming pools, two of them were for children which was excellent as I had two young boys. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen is well equiped. I was self catering so didn't try the food in the hotel, but grilled fish is great all over Algarve (try silver bream). The Falicia beach is a walking distance so it is a good place to chill out. I had a car which was great as transport could be patchy if you want to move around - use of the underground car park is free.

Opened in 2006, this Mediterranean-style Hotel Apartment has a total of 140 air-conditioned apartments (one of which is wheelchair accessible) over 4 floors as well as a terrace and a garden. Amongst the hotel's facilities count with 3 outdoor swimming pools (2 for children 1 for adults), one outdoor jacuzzi (summer only), restaurant and take away restaurant, complimentary car garage, Wifi internet access (fee), children's playground and daily cleanning service.

Emplacement

This apartment hotel is located approximately 800 m from the unspoilt Falésia beach and about 8 km from the busy centre of Albufeira. This hotel is recommended to those seeking a quiet holiday destination. The tranquillity of the surrounding area with pines and a fresh sea breeze ensure this is a fabulous holiday destination. Inspiration knows no limits here. Faro airport lies around 30 km away.

By Car: On highway A22 exit in Albufeira. Drive towards Albufeira centre. In Albufeira, go east in the direction of Olhos d'Agua/Açoteias. Drive by Olhos d'Agua and follow signs to Açoteias and Falésia beach. Once in Açoteias area, follow signs to Falésia beach and the blue signs for Stella Maris. We are just beside a football field and 800 metres from Falésia beach. From the Airport: Contact hotel directly for airport transfer (up to 4 people, only EUR 30 approx). The journey time is approximately 30 minutes.

The 140 accommodation units are either studios/suites or 1 or 2 bedroom apartments with bathroom, hairdryer, direct dial telephone as well as satellite/cable TV. Also to be found in the accommodation are a fully-equipped kitchen with an oven, tea and coffee making facilities, ironing equipment, individually regulated air conditioning, a balcony or terrace area as well as a hire safe. Microwave (on request) and Wireless internet (fee) are also available. The studios accomodate up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children, the 1 bedroom accomodate up to 4 persons and the 2 bedroom up to 6 people.
 Sports/Entertainment
The hotel grounds feature 3 swimming pools (2 for children 1 for adults). A diversity of sporting activities may also be enjoyed here. There is also a pitch suited to football and rugby training, a synthetic recaflex athletics track with 4 tracks, two tennis courts (for an additional fee), a gym, an international cross country track as well as a selection of local golf courses.
 Observations
From November to April hotel reserves the right to close without warning some outdoor facilities. Outdoor whirlpooli is not allowed for children under 12 years old.
