 this 3 star hotel is pretending to be a 4 star, it`s isolated, food is cafatera basic, nothing to do, beach is small rocky

  we were disappointed with the arrangement made by your office for trasfer to your hotel upon our arrival at the airport. we were made to waitfor pick up for more than an hour. No reason was given for the delay nor was an apology offered for this inconvenience.
 

Hotel description

This hotel, established in 2003, with a terrific location on the highest point of São Rafael has a magnificent panoramic view over the Atlantic Ocean and the Algarvian Coast. Inserted in a 11.000 m2 area, including gardens, just 500 m away from São Rafael beach and 4 km from the historical Old Town of Albufeira. It has 4 floors consisting of 58 rooms, of which 9 are singles, 42 are doubles and 7 are suites, with spacious terraces and total privacy. The facilities include an elegant lobby with lifts, a 24 hours service Reception, a currency exchange desk, rent-a-car service, internet Wireless, etc. There are also 2 outdoor swimming pools with a wide terrace and sun chairs, 1 heated indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, tennis court, gymnasium, massage service and nutritious counselling. Cocktail-bar and restaurant À la Carte with esplanade are also much appreciated. The hotel also offers a multifunctional room with 330 m2, ideal for conferences, reunions, ceremonious feast, weddings and other events. The room service and laundry may also be required by the guests.

Emplacement

This chic hotel is peacefully located in the recreation area of Albufeira. The stunning sandy beach can be reached in just a few minutes walk and it is about 4 km to an abundance of shops and other entertainment venues. The local bus service makes it easy to reach this and other destinations. The nearest golf course is approximately 3 km away.

Take the motorway A22 towards Albufeira and take the Albufeira exit, follow the signs to Albufeira Centre. Once reaching the main road in Albufeira, Eixo Viário, follow the sign for Praia São Rafael/Praia Galé. Finally, take the Praia São Rafael exit. The hotel is right in front of the beach.
