 Location was very good, close to the beach and "the strip". Nice walking distance to the Old Town or short taxi journey if preferred.  If we had not managed to get a change of room the Soldoiro would have received a negative minus rating from us. The fact is without a room change we would have tried to find the alternative accomodation regardless of the extra expense. We only obtained an exchange at the second attempt. The first room was No. 1( should be closed). The replacement room was different class). Credit cards are not accepted, or were not when we booked an activity. Noise is excessive at up to 5am, not particularly from the Soldoiro, but also from returning revellers from elsewhwere.  The beah is very nie, and if you are so inlined many watersports. Also many many nie afes and supermarkets near to Appts. The "strip" is very lose with plenty of nie bars and restaurants( we never had a poor meal).

 Check out staff was very helpful and friendly. The location of hotel was ideal, literally on the beach and 2 minutes walk up the hill to the main road where all the restaurants and shops are located. Swimming pool was very attractive and could easily spent the whole day there.  Check in staff was not very helpful. The decor of the apartment was left to be desired. The furniture was old and badly in need of replacement. The walls were not sound proof. Loud music could be heard from nearby pubs. As a result, holidaymakers may struggle to find a good night sleep.  Lying on the beah all day. Taking a stroll along the beah. Enjoying grilled fish in nearby restaurant.

This complex offers a total of 86 apartments spread over a 4-storey main building and a 6-storey annexe block. Facilities on the apartment complex include a foyer with a safe, a currency exchange facility and a café. In addition there is a bar, a pub, a TV room and a restaurant with highchairs for infants available. There is Internet access and those arriving by car may take advantage of the hotel's car park and garage. Finally, there is a playground for younger visitors.

This apartment complex is located in Albufeira's leisure district, within 150 m of the nearest beach. Links to the public transport network, shopping venues, bars, restaurants and nightclubs are all to be found in the immediate vicinity. Due to the position of this complex on a hill, access is gained via a flight of steps, making it unsuitable for those who are less mobile.
