went here for a week in july 08 really enjoyed this hotel, nice big pool ,great staff,and the rooms were fantasticit is in a quieter area but not to far to walk to rocha where the bars

This was the third time that we have stayed at the Mar a Vista. The ground floor room was more convenient than the higher floors. The appartments were being decorated (to a very good standard) during our stay but the smell of paint was noticeable but not overpowering. The only improvements that we can think of would be to provide a kettle and a draining board in the kitchen
 

Built in 2003, the apartment hotel offers a total of 68 apartments, which are spread over 7 floors. The hotel's facilities include a pleasant lobby, a 24-hour reception, lifts, a café as well as a bar. Guests may park their cars either in the hotel car park, or in the garage (fees apply).

  This hotel is ideally situated near the centre, as well as close to the sandy beach of Praia da Rocha. Stylish restaurants, lively pubs and nightclubs as well as plenty of shopping venues are all in the immediate vicinity. Links to the public transport network lie within walking distance of the hotel (500 m). In addition, Faro airport is around 65 km away.

The welcoming apartments are equipped with an en suite bathroom, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV and a safe.

The hotel offers guests use of the swimming pool, a snack bar and a furnished sun terrace. It is approximately 1 km to the nearest golf course.
