 nice position on beach,lovely pools - we were given a suite this time. the best beds we have ever had in portugal - two large pillows on each bed. i always take pillow with me in portugal as normally you end up with one very small one.  always ask for sea view room its well worth the extra,otherwise your view is of the car park and the main road. Some of the furniture is very dated  There is a asino where you an dine. not tried it. you have to look around for real portuguese food as its mainly fast food. duth bar is very good on other side of road from hotel.
