a very nice room- complete with its own kitchenette. 10/10 for cleanliness. A great location too- right on the beach and a 5 min walk to the main street for bars, shops and restaurants. The hotel faclitiies were very basic for a 4* hotel compared to the other 4* hotels in the area. I arrived a little early and was made to wait untill the official check-in time before they gave me my key. I also specifically requested a double room and was give a twin. when i called to complain, i was told the the hotel was fully booked and there were no other room available (i seriously doubt that as the hotel seemed empty). Some of the staff were very polite and helpful and some seemed like they were going out of their way to be unhelpful. All in all a nice hotel but you will get better service and and facilities from one of the other nearby 4* hotels such as the Jupiter or Algarve Casino for almost the same money.
 

This exotic and charming hotel lies directly over Praia da Rocha beach. Totally renovated in 2001, has a total of 86 rooms all with views over the sea as well as a large lawn for sunbathing and a panoramic swimming pool with sea view. A cosy hotel bar with sea view and an exclusive a la carte restaurant are some of the facilities available. There's also a games room, a conference room, TV room, a hairdresser's salon, playground for children, wireless internet access and internet points. At the 24 hours open reception guests may inquire about all kind of activities as excursions, car rental, events and general information's.

  This popular apartment hotel overlooks a fine-sandy beach, which is only a promenade away and right in the tourist centre of Praia da Rocha. The surrounding area offers plenty of shops, bars, nightclubs and restaurants. The center of the city of Portimão with its numerous shopping venues is only 3km away.

From Faro airport drive on highway A22 direction Portimão. Exit in Portimão and follow on main road direction Praia da Rocha. In Praia da Rocha drive towards east following hotel signs direction \"Santa Catarina\" fortress.
