 rooms of high standard and facilities excellent  no kettle in kitchen and hob very basic  restuarants and beah lose to hotel

 We went a little out of season and the weather wasn't too good but could not fault the hotel. We will return to the Aqualuz soon because of its exceptional facilities and location to Lagos.
 

Hotel description

This apartment complex features a 5-storey main building and an annexe block with a total of 163 apartments. The building offers guests a reception desk, a hairdresser and a beauty salon. Also to be found on the grounds are a bar, a TV room, a restaurant and for those who seek to have a calm drink near a fire place during the less hot days at the Algarve, is the Irish bar, with its friendly and cosy decoration, makes it the perfect place for an afternoon of reading or lively social evenings. Those arriving by car may take advantage of the car park or garage facilities A laundry service is also available.

Emplacement

This pleasant complex is centrally located in Lago, approximately only 600 m from Dona Ana beach and 800 m from the resort centre. Its renovation and expansion created a new image, a unique blend of modernity, comfort and functionality. Commercial areas with shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants are to be found in the near vicinity. The hotel is located on a slope in the south of Lagos. Links to the public transport network lie about 300 m away.

From Faro¿s airport take EN 125 and follow the signs to Via do Infante/A22, direction Portimao/Lisboa. Follow the A22 direction to Lagos (a few kms) until the Lagos/Vila Do Bispo¿s exit. After approximately 5 km, at 1st roundabout turn left to Lagos. At 2nd roundabout (there is a giant black ball) turn right. After 3rd roundabout turn left and the hotel will be found 50 metres ahead.

The cosy studios and apartments come with a combined living room/bedroom, a bathroom with tube and hair dryer, a modern kitchenette with stove, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and tea and coffee making facilities, individual safe, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning with individual controller and central heating. The apartments also come with a separate bedroom. All suites and studios have large balconies that beckon guests to indulge and relax, and most have pool views.

In the outdoor complex is a swimming pool with a children's paddling area, a poolside snack bar as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. Hotel table tennis facilities may be used of, as may billiard/snooker facilities, for an additional fee. On payment of an extra charge, guests may enjoy the spa area that features a sauna area, a steam room and a massage service. There is also an entertainment programme to provide some variation for guests.
