 Very clean. Helpful staff even googled a strange looking pod I had bought in the market to tell me what it was. Breakfast was all fresh and plentiful and set us up for the morning and the walk down to the Port.  Front rooms bit of road noise would have like to changed rooms but receptionist said hotel was full luckily our friends changed rooms with us and everyone was happy..  Hotel entral for hop on hop off buses for tours and also near to Market and shopping and afes. Bit of a walk to Port and hilly oming bak up but some quite interesting sights on the way.
 

Hotel description

This hotel was renovated in 2004 and comprises 6 floors with a total of 51 rooms of which 6 are suites. Facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe and a lift in addition to a bar, a TV room and a restaurant. The public Internet terminal/WLAN access and car hire service may be taken advantage of for an added fee. Room and laundry services round off the offerings.

Emplacement

This hotel is located in the centre of Porto close to the city hall. The Rio Douro with the historical Ribeira old town and numerous port wine cellars are just 10 minutes away. Plenty of shopping opportunities, restaurants, bars and clubs are located in the neighbourhood along with links to public transport. São Bento main train station lies just 500 m away and Francisco Sá Carneiro is around 11 km from the hotel.

The hotel features good bus connections (STPC). From Francisco Sá Carneiro airport take bus number 56, which runs every 20 minutes, or the comfortable AEROBUS, which runs every 30 minutes between 7 am and 7.30 pm. Guests arriving by car from Lisbon should take the A1, from Minho take the A3 and from Trás-os-Montes take the A4. If taking a boat guests should arrive at Leixões harbour. By train: international connections are available at Campanhã train station.
