In 1987 the hotel was recognised as a national monument by the Singapore government. The refurbished hotel comprises over 103 suites, extensive gardens and courtyards, 18 pubs and restaurants, 6 outdoor and indoor function rooms, 6 different hotel shops including a bookshop, dry cleaners, florist, mini-supermarket, boutique, and a souvenir shop. There is also a hotel museum, ?Jubilee Hall' private museum, ?Raffles Amrita' spa and ?Raffles Culinary Academy' cookery school. Furthermore, there are over 40 shops offering regional specialities and products. The 49 courtyard suites are approximately 58 m² in size, whilst the 37 palm courtyard suites are 68 m² with a veranda overlooking the courtyards or greenery. Suites also include an entrance hall, living room, dressing room and bathroom. Facilities include 2 TVs, a Bose stereo system, WLAN Internet access, minibar, 4 digital electronic safes and 24-hour room service. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided, whilst there is 1 king-size and 2 queen-size beds.

Guests may make use of the outdoor swimming pool, spa pool, sauna and gym. For an additional fee, a number of spa treatments are offered, such as a massage service.
Observations
The hotel has no additional beds. The accommodation units house a maximum of 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children under 12. Children under 12 stay with their parents for no extra charge. Children over 12 incur an additional charge. Breakfast is charged separately.
