The JM Santa Pola is situated on the outskirts of the town on the main Highway from Alicante traveling south. The road is very busy & dangerous, there are no marked crossing points or pathways on either side of the road. Having spoken to the Hotel representative I was told this was the governments responsibility. I was also corrected and informed this was a Cheap 3* Hotel. The Hotel has many attractive features but was poorly maintained & understaffed. (July 2008)

It would be nice if there was some seating available outside the hotel to sit and read in the good weather. Great service from hotel staff.
