It is a nice hotel in a great location if you want to be close to the Ramblas or if you are coming into Barcelona and need to stay before taking a cruise. It is about 1/2 a mile walk to a shuttle bus to the Cruise terminal. I only did one night. The room you get can vary greatly. I had a balcony room which was much nicer then the rooms towards the back of the hotel. They are doing renovations so the rooms may improve but if you are not fusy they are fine. Sheets are clean and the morning breakfast is fine.
 

Historical urban hotel built in 1865, jewel of the Catalan Modernism. Their halls and restaurant were decorated under the direction of illustrious architect LLuís Domènech i Montaner, with the collaboration of the painter Ramon Houses and the sculptor Eusebi Arnau. The hotel has 83 rooms distributed in 4 plants, many of them apt for 3, 4 and up to 5 people, 24-hours reception service, lift, Internet Corner and restaurant with a la carte service and daily menu.

It is close to the La Boquería Market, the Plaza Catalunya Square, the Colón Promenade, the MACBA, the Cathedral and the Gothic Quarter. The sea is easily reached by a 1km walk.
