Friendly staff and extremely helpful inspite of the language barriers! My only criticism would be that it was very difficult to find - even when we went to the Santa Marta Hotel and asked for directions, the directions were extremely misleading!However, the hotel itself was fine, good value for money for travellers on a budget and in an excellent location. I would recommend it to individuals/friends/couples on a budget.

This hotel is located right opposite Barcelona-Estació de França train station, not too far away from the Gothic Quarter, the Colón statue, the Picasso Museum and the harbour. It is situated in the heart of the city near to all the shops and is not far from the zoo and Ciudadela Park.

The rooms are very basic but they are clean and well-kept. All rooms come equipped with an en suite bathroom, a TV, direct dial telephone, air conditioning and central heating.
